Animation Health and Safety Policy
An animation induction is delivered to every level 1 student at the start of the course. This induction incorporates essential health and safety information that is key to the safe and efficient running of the animation studios. A further and more bespoke series of Health and Safety training sessions are incorporated into the workshop program, and are clearly indicated on the workshop discriptor pages of this site.

Legislation
All activities carried out by staff and students in the technical Resources area are under the auspices of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its many associated regulations since then. The overall safety management is also informed by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 and all the relevant EU Directives.
All students working on long term productions in 4B14 (stop motion studio) must attend a comprehensive training day, and complete and submit a risk assessment to the technical instructor, detailing the activity that they wish to carry out, and indicating key concerns, safe practice and control measures to be implemented by them during production.
