On attending this session, students should have a greater awareness of the importance of developing practical and functional design work at an early stage of production, and will be introduced to a standard approach (in the form of industry standard vocational documentation and strategy) to designing and fabricating for stop motion production. At the end of this workshop, students will be set the task of writing up a comprehensive "Design Manefesto" to be completed before the "Armature Design and Construction" workshop timetabled in for the following Friday.
