From your module handbook

The aim of the module is to encourage you to reflect upon and create an online diary record (blog) of the principal aspects of your exchange experience;

Academic, Cultural, Social and Personal,

• You are requested to set up an exchange blog via Wordpress or other suitable site prior to your departure.

 

• The format of each blog may be determined by yourselves and may include in addition to text, visual imagery; photographs, drawings, video and audio clips.

 

• Subsequent to departure you will be expected to make diary entries at least once per week. These should aim to give a picture of the totality of the exchange experience,  and include a reflection upon your integration within the host culture, your incorporation within the host university, details of your host modules/courses and  a commentary upon the academic ethos and expectations you encounter there.
  

Your final online artefact should clearly demonstrate the following:

• The ability to research and analyse the host environment using primary and secondary sources, and relate  this to your  personal interests and professional contexts
  
• Clearly and effective communication using a range of methods
  
• Appropriate material  representing yourselves and your  work or that of another  practitioner(s) to an identified audience.
  
• Your  work and ideas presented in a professional manner that demonstrates ambition.
