BA3 - Pre Production for Animation - Production co-ordination and management - Technical Paradigm overview and discussion on key pipeline issues.
ACE – Technical Workshop Descriptor
Mary Murphy - Ian Friend
Technical Instruction Area:
Animation
Technical Learning Objectives:
When developing a concept at the pre-production stage, it is crucial that animators do not lose sight of logistical and practical production challenges This workshop introduces students to the fundamental need for the development and implementation of a robust production pipeline which underpins and tracks a projects progress in terms of the technologies and training needs the individual will require in order to move into production as soon as possible. Key constraints (Time, budget, skill and levels of ambition) are emphasised. At this point in the production arc, it is also an opportunity to focus on key practical and technical considerations when planning audio design, scheduling outside support and enganging with a trange of technilogies within a single paradigm.
