UWE Animation Studios
Opening Hours: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday.
Friday 9.00 am - 4.30 pm.
Friday 9.00 am - 4.30 pm.
The animation studios are currently located on the fourth floor of B Block on the Bower Ashton campus.

These studio spaces are divided according to technique, and each space is equipped with the hardware, software and specialist studio furniture necessary to engage with the following animation production processes.
Each studio falls in one of two catogories
Students on introductory or non “Production” based modules have access to the “testing and training” rooms. These spaces are supplied with a range of equipment suitable for producing short tests and exercises. These rooms are also used as workshop delivery spaces.
Students on long term “production” based modules have access to the production studios. These spaces are non teaching spaces, and are equipped with industry standard equipment.
Training Studios are equipped with projection facilities with sound for teaching, screening work and demonstrations in the studio environment. These are in addition to the faculty’s bookable lecture and seminar spaces.
All the facilities and resources including the hardware and software, are in line with industry standards.

- Traditional Animation (Traditional 2D, 3D Stop Motion)
- Digital Animation (3D CGI, Digital 2D)
- Under camera techniques (Stop Frame, Pixelation)
- Multi Disciplinary Studios with line test facilities
