There have been a number of big changes to the technical team this semester. Firstly, we are delighted to welcome our brand new Animation Intern for 2014-2015. Helena Haughton is a recent graduate of the Bristol School of Animation, having completed her degree here in 2012. She is a skilled puppet maker and stop motion animator, and is currently developing a showreel of work including traditional puppet performance, shadow puppetry, and stop motion animation. She will be working closely with the technical instructors assisting and supporting them in the development and maintainance of the studio environment. She has already begun to make some of the areas more organised and user friendly. She is also undertaking a number of more creative personal projects, details of which can be found in on her staff profile page HERE |
Secondly, we are thrilled to have Libby Bass working in the team this year. Libby is a very skilled animator with a wealth of industry experience. She is also a graduate of the Bristol school of Animation, having completed her MA with us in 2006. Libby will be providing workshops and studio support for students using 2D animation pipelines (in particular Flash) She will also be playing a key role in introducing and supporting some exciting new production pipelines...and we will be announcing details on this in the next newsletter in two weeks time.
