It's a good idea to have a play on After Effects and watch any training videos if possible before attending the workshop. Students must bring: A portable hard drive or large capacity pen drive to save files New Language and Vocational Terms Introduced: Pre comp Colour correction Masking Keyframes Key Processes/Technologies Covered: Exploring the interface and Adobe pipeline. Creating projects and compositions, animation techniques, importing sound and video. Duration of Workshop: 1 Day Handouts/Tutorial |
The workshops Aims Are :
To introduce the students to Flash, giving them a basic understanding of the interface and pipeline. To demonstrate the capabilities of Flash and point students in the right direction to online tutorials and resources. About Flash
Adobe Flash is a digital multi media platform for creating graphics, animations and games. Adobe Flash Professional recently changed it's name to Adobe Animate. It is widely used in the animation industry, and in Bristol at companies such as Aardman Animation, AProductions and Rumpus to name a few. Other notable users further afield include DHX Media Vancouver for productions including Pound Puppies and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Nickelodeon Animation Studios for Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and Happy Tree Friends. Flash is great for cut-out and hand drawn animation. Technical Learning Objectives: Students will be introduced to the Flash interface and basic tools. This workshop will concentrate on creating artwork within Flash, setting animation keys and motion tweening. Students will create simple animation using the different key-frame and animation techniques within the software. At the end of the workshop students should have a basic understanding of Flash and it's capabilities and be able to create a simple animation. Links to Relevant Websites |
